In-person payments: POS app & web register
Take payment right at the chair with Salonify POS, which comes in two flavours: the mobile POS app (iPhone & Android) and the web register at pos.salonify.eu that runs in any browser on a computer or tablet. Both share the same catalogue, customers, sessions and reporting, so you can ring up a sale on whichever device is closest. Accept card — including Tap to Pay on iPhone and Tap to Pay on Android with no extra hardware — as well as cash, and every sale is recorded against an open register session for clean end-of-day accounting.
How to set it up

Pick your register: mobile app or web
Use the Salonify POS mobile app (iPhone or Android) when you're on the floor — on a supported phone, Tap to Pay turns the device itself into the card terminal. Prefer a fixed counter? Open the web register at pos.salonify.eu in any browser on a computer or tablet. Sign in with the same owner or staff account; everything stays in sync.

Open a register session
Start the day's session with your opening cash float so cash is tracked from the first sale. The session is shared between the mobile app and the web register.

Ring up the sale
Add the service or product — or import an existing booking to bill it — then choose Card or Cash. For card, the customer taps their card or phone; for cash, enter the amount tendered.

Sell a membership and use it on the spot
Just finished a service and the client wants to subscribe? Add the membership to the same basket as the service, attach the client (a membership always belongs to a customer), and take the payment. The moment the sale completes, Salonify asks "Deduct first session?" — the service you just performed is pre-ticked because the new membership covers it. Tap Deduct and that first visit comes straight off the membership, so the client starts using it from minute one with nothing to track by hand.

Issue a receipt
Send a digital receipt by email or SMS, or skip it. The sale is now logged against the session and the daily report.

- Two ways to run it: the mobile POS app (iPhone/Android) and the web register at pos.salonify.eu — same data, same sessions.
- Card: contactless, chip, Apple Pay / Google Pay.
- Tap to Pay on iPhone & Android — the phone is the terminal, no reader needed (mobile app).
- Cash: always free, tracked in the cash drawer.
- Sell a membership next to the service and deduct that first session from it right at checkout.
